This newly renovated lodge (2022) nestles within the owners’ beautiful scenic woodland farm, a working goat dairy farm with goats , pigs, dogs and cats. Spacious, inviting and ticking every box for a holiday destination where you can relax and recharge or set off and explore the area as you are perfectly placed for discovering both Cornwall and Devon being so close to the border. To the west lies atmospheric and mystical Bodmin Moor, whilst to the east stunning Dartmoor with its million shades of green and rolling hills, whilst you are just a 30-minute drive from the nearest beaches.

Your single level lodge has an open plan living space, with L-shaped sofa, wood burner and TV for those lazy days and nights. The kitchen has plenty of workspace and is well-equipped with a mixture of clean lines and stylish design. There is a dining area with ample room for four guests. There is a fabulous family shower room and two bedrooms, one a bunk room, the other with a double bed. Much care, thought and attention to detail has been invested to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Outside, decking stretches around the lodge, offering stunning views across the valley to woodland. Buzzards, owls and deer may be seen. This would be a wonderful area to enjoy morning coffee or a little al fresco dining, or to watch the spectacular unpolluted sky at night with its millions of stars and galaxies to marvel at.

Visit the mysterious Cheesewring and Stowes Hill to the north of Bodmin Moor, whilst the ancient Hurlers Stone Circles and abandoned engine houses and chimneys from a mining industry long gone punctuate a breath-taking landscape. Golitha Falls with its special micro climate and dramatic waterfalls is a delight. The south coast beaches offer a blend of long stretches of golden sand to shingle and rock pools, cliff tops and coves, whilst the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, awaits. Take the train from Liskeard to Plymouth, offering outstanding, scenic views, where you will find shops, marinas, restaurants and many fun filled attractions. Beach 15 miles.
