The second time we have stayed here. Comfortable and convenient to tour the local area. Dog friendly and a secure garden. Good pub/restaurant nearby and village shop. A very pleasant week’s holiday

We loved this little cottage. It was a quiet spot, with plenty of walks on our doorstep, but also had a choice of pubs and a handy shop just down the road. The conservatory was lovely, and a warm part of the house when the weather was cooler. We found the bed comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom. We would like to have had larger bath towels (and, in fact, ended up buying some in Hereford) and the shower attachment didn’t allow for a great shower but we tended to have baths after long walks. The garden was magical and we made the most of this, using the table, arbour and summer-house on sunny days. Minor annoyances were: the clock in the kitchen that didn’t work even with new batteries and one of the kitchen lights that had blown. At night, it was completely dark with no light-pollution and, had the skies been clearer, it would have been perfect for star-gazing.
