Unfortunately we had not hot water for the first 2 days, but we coped. Could not get the sky box or tv’s to work - but as we were 4 adults on holiday it did not make a lot of difference - and we did not mention to the host. Could not access Wi-Fi as network name not found - but again as phone signal so good not mentioned to host. Overall a very positive experience.

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The directions are very misleading and need updating as access is via an unmade road. We were the first visitors of the season and had to ask for the oven to be switched on at the mains and TVs to be tuned which was disappointing. The owner lives in an adjacent property and responded quickly to requests however. A folder with useful information would have been helpful (I have found this in previous holiday cottages) as the WIFI code was written on an old envelope and there was no instruction where to put rubbish. On the positive side it was comfortable and spacious. Just down the road from Haworth which is well worth visiting

This is a fabulous, huge bungalow. It is fantastically well appointed, with heated granite floors, repainted old Masters, enormous leather sofas, marble dining and coffee tables, and top notch kitchen and bathrooms. We particularly enjoyed the Bose surround-sound music system. Here are some small gripes, all of which are more than compensated by the unexpected luxury in a holiday "cottage": * The Wifi didn't work at all. Fortunately there was a good mobile signal so we could tether a phone. * The kitchen knives were blunt, perhaps because there was no plastic or wooden chopping board, only a glass one * The coffee maker went bang on first use * The brilliant view from the conservatory was spoiled by some misted double-glazing units Good, local Chinese takeaway, a few minutes walk away.
