Lovely host. She was friendly and helpful. Cottage was clean and fine but no dishwasher and only one bedroom. A little isolated too.

very nice location, big place. Very helpful host. we had mostly nice weather. The directions can be better and a sign or the name of the lodge nearby would help to find it.

We had a wonderful week, Karen and Colum were excellent hosts. The cottage was very well equipped, everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. Although the weather was cold and snowy, once the log burner came up to temperature the room was cosy and we and the dogs loved sitting and enjoying quiet evenings in. Walking from the cottage was easy to do with lots of places to go, the shore and the Brainport trail were a favourite. There are lots of local maps and leaflets suggesting lovely places to visit. We would certainly recommend The George at Inveraray for lunch and the Loch Fyne whisky shop opposite is a must! We are already planning when we can return!
