We had a lovely stay. It was ideal as a stop over while visiting Alton Towers. Plenty of space for a family of four. Only downside for teenagers wifi is extremely bad.

Great base for a jaunt around the Peaks! The cottage is equipped with everything you need and has a very homely atmosphere. Our dog and kids loved running around the farm stroking horses, pigs, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs! Very safe. Don't expect luxury and the cottage needed a good dust and updating in parts but if you are just needing somewhere easy going and laid back Broadhurst Farm Cottages are very good value.

We stayed 4 nights at Cedar cottage this week. The location was great with pubs nearby and lots of fantastic walks close to the cottage. The setting next to the farm was perfect and the owners were lovely. There were horses and dogs at the farm which was nice. We took our two dogs and it was great for them. The cottage is quiet, we had neighbours in the adjoining cottage and neither of us could hear the other. We will definitely go back next time we visit the area for a break.
