To the front of the cottage is an enclosed gravelled garden with a bench, which makes the perfect little spot to enjoy your morning coffee and sit and enjoy the relaxing, peaceful setting before setting out on your day’s adventures.

Situated within a short drive of Reeth, Gunnerside is ideally placed for outdoor enthusiasts with fantastic walking in Swaledale, the most northerly and beautiful of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Many walks can be taken direct from the door, including the old lead mine up Gunnerside Ghyll and Upper Swaledale following from Healaugh to Tan Hill including Angram, Ivelet, Feetham, Keld, Low Row, Muker, Satron and Thwaite. There is a small village tea room and local pub within a few strides serving local ales and food. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
