Bridge House offers couples a cosy holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that The Cotswolds has to offer.With the apartment situated just a 15-minute walk from the marketplace, the local pubs and restaurants are within easy reach. The newly refurbished marketplace which hosts a market twice weekly and a farmer’s market every other Saturday. Cirencester has the remains of one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in Britain which was built in the early 2nd Century, when the Roman City of Corinium (now Cirencester) was second only to London in size and importance.After the Roman army left Britain it was fortified against Saxon invaders. St Michael’s and Cirencester Parks offer wonderful green spaces to be enjoyed by all with tennis courts, children’s obstacle courses and numerous walking trails. Sporting opportunities are abundant in the area with the Cotswold Leisure Centre in the heart of town, a super open-air swimming pool which is highly recommended, and nearby golf courses in Baunton, Minchinhampton and Naunton and sailing and water sports can be enjoyed at the Cotswold Water Park. Other beautiful small Cotswold villages, all within a short car journey away are Bourton on The Water, Northleach, Bibury, Burford and Fairford.
