The properties are 4 miles from the historic town of Lismore and 2 miles from Tallow. Meet Rosie the donkey, watch the animals grazing or wander through the fields to the river, where you can fish for trout. Lismore is a former winner of Ireland’s tidiest town, and has a fairytale castle, Millennium Park and walks by the river and in the woods. West Waterford boasts picturesque mountains, forests, the lush Nire Valley and the scenic Blackwater Estuary. There are numerous beaches, including Clonea Strand, Dungarven and the 5-mile long beach at Youghal. Day trips include Blarney Castle and the famous stone, the Jameson Whiskey Centre, St Declan’s Tower and Waterford Crystal. Bride Valley Fruit Farm is just 1½ miles from the N72, making it ideal for touring Cork, Waterford and Tipperary. Cork Airport, 40 miles. Golf and horse riding locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
