You can even get there from the nearby market town of Aylsham by hopping on the Bure Valley Railway and heading across open fields to this pretty destination. Norwich is also well worth a visit and you are sure to be impressed by the Norman castle that overlooks this amazing city. It is just packed with museums, galleries and theatres of all kinds, including a puppet one. And there are lots of great places to eat and shop too including the award-winning market and the Lanes. When it comes to the county as a whole, history buffs will love visits to the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, the North Norfolk Railway and the Thursford and Muckleburgh collections. Families should make time to visit Amazonia Zoo, Cromer amusements and Bewilderwood and nature lovers will flock to RSPB Cley Marshes, Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve.
