The village is lovely and the cottage First Class. A large freezer was so very helpful especially as we left to go on a narrow boat for 4 days and had lots with us.The only points that dropped it down from all '10s' were the very steep stairs which we felt should be carpeted to prevent slipping. In addition don't be over a size 16 if you want to use the en suite to the second bedroom. [Pleased I'm a '10'!]It is so very narrow you have to stand sideways to the basin. The back door would be much more user friendly if reversed so it opens fully - only halfway at moment - very easy to have tray knocked sideways en route to lovely sun trap garden. Finally if, like us, you are dog owners then the 'insecure' back garden is a bit of a problem - neighbours have right of access and there are 2 ways for your dog to gain the road. Luckily ours behaved and learnt very quickly not to use either. Local facility problem no ATMs but local shop and cafe brilliant and both open 7 days a week. We didn't like attitude of local pub and didn't use it.

What a fab cottage, it’s really beautiful with everything you could need. The only draw back are the steep stairs to the bedroomband kitchen

Had a problem with the heating system. Rang Saturday morning and they had someone out that day. We did not have to stay in as they could access the house and all was fixed on our return. Really good service.

Lovely spacious but still cosy cottage. The owners have thought of lots of extras such as books, DVDs, maps, games, well stocked kitchen utensils for a comfortable stay. Great location as a base for walks and trips to other villages, Hidcote Gardens, Sudeley Castle.
