The cottage itself was very nice ,large & comfy but the garden was not enclosed so had to keep my dog on the lead also he could get to the horses in the paddock next door .The sink taps in main bathroom very badly fitted kept turning round. The main problem was the raised slabs round the back & not being able to see at night I tripped over the slab the day before we left causing my knee to twist & swell.

Oh my goodness what a fabulous place! The cottage was absolutely lovely. Very clean, cosy, welcoming. We were provided with a marvellous starter box with Batemans beer included. Huge garden, lots of space for our dog to run. Parking. We could not have wished for better. And batemans just round the corner! Heaven. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much to everyone xxxx

Beautiful house in an idyllic setting. Well equipped but could do with a few more plates & bowls as there were 5 of us staying and with exactly 5 plates & bowls we had to wash up constantly and it also made the dishwasher a little pointless. House was spacious but cosy, with friendly horses in the field next to the garden. Shop within 5 minute walk & Skegness town 10 minute drive. Typical seaside town with Everything kids enjoy and a nice beach. Have rated the house high in everything but have given it a 7 for the overall rating as we did have an issue with some teenagers (boys) hanging out right in front of the house every day. It became their hangout as it was a good spot to jump in the river. Our daughters (teenagers) were also keen to river swim, which they did but also they felt a little intimidated by the boys as they were loud, swearing and teasing the girls. Also everyday after they had visited the boys then left rubbish by the river (in front of the house), consisting of chip wrappers, sweet packets and empty cans. Whilst we fully appreciate that the river area at the front of the house is not owned by same people who own the house, the presence of the teenagers was an issue for us, especially as one evening there was as many as 15 of them. A gorgeous house in a lovely setting sadly let down by local teenagers. Also as a final point, we did mention to the owner that the bathroom light was not working on the first night there but at no point during our 4 night stay was it fixed. The bathroom is beautiful but one of our daughters had a bath in the dark and our other daughter decided not to use the bath due to the light issue.
