By far the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Very quiet , lovely old cottage with everything you need . Lovely pub on your doorstep that welcomed my two Labradors. Hope to come back very soon 😁😁😁

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at this beautiful cottage. It was well equipped, clean and really beautiful. Only a stones throw away from the pub where the staff are all amazing and the food is gorgeous. We would recommend doing the brewery tour, very well informed guide. We had the absolute best weekend here and we will be back, thank you so much.

There was a lack of hot water which the owner seemed reluctant to accept. He made an attempt to look at the boiler but nothing was resolved we were still having to fill a bath by using hot water from a kettle and pans on the stove. This lack of hot water also meant that showers had to be extremely short and hurried. Cottage well equipped, clean but needs some TLC. Wood provided for the wood burner was damp and didn't burn very well, disappointing. Cottage being in close proximity to the pub meant that the large pub kitchen extractor fan hummed for hours on end disturbing the peaceful environment. Having nowhere to put rubbish outside was inconvenient. Would recommend the area but the cottage was a bit disappointing.

We've been here twice in the past dating back to our last visit in 2010 we enjoyed the lovely cottage during that time but unfortunately this time we found it was a little downgraded a few things wasn't up to standards.. Things you used like toaster was half dead, hardly any hot water for a bath you had to have warm showers fiddling about with the mixed shower ,had the heating on full all day and night and the wood burner most nights to keep it warm ,the windows are really poor letting vast of cold air in ,you couldn't shut the kitchen it was hanging loose ,was never greeted or made welcome by the owners who lived next door which I think is very rude ..no bins outside for rubbish or recycling things ..overall it was a disappointment and we left a day earlier and would never be returning .

We had a lovely week in Brewers Cottage. The cottage is quirky with lots of original features and had everything we needed. We used it as a base to explore the area and it was very convenient for several attractions. We had 2 kids and 2 dogs and all loved their stay. The pub was very close and the food and beer excellent. Highly recommended

Third or fourth time we have stayed here, three adults and two dogs. Good walks in the area, good meals at the pub. Outstanding beer. A really relaxing week, and we hope to come again next year.

A perfect spot for anyone touring the area. The cottage and it's amenities were 1st class. The staff at the New Inn were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The owners on hearing we were on honeymoon were kind enough to leave us a cake. The only problem is no shop in walking distance so remember to stock up. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

Lovely cottage, situated in beautiful countyside. Many beautiful walks around the village. Close to the sights of Yorkshire Moors and the coast. Enjoyed the New Inn which is very welcoming and serves excellent food and good beers. Also dog friendly.
