A charming and very characterful retreat for two in the Vale of Evesham with a farmhouse style kitchen and original beams throughout.

This pretty timber-framed holiday property makes an ideal romantic hideaway, set in the peaceful fruit growing Vale of Evesham, midway between the Cotswolds (Broadway 15 miles) and the Severn Valley. Attached to the owner’s 17th-century farmhouse home, it offers very comfortable accommodation with its own sunny garden. The market town of Pershore (3 miles) offers a wide range of facilities. An excellent holiday base for touring with the cathedral city of Worcester (6 miles), The Malverns (12 miles), Stratford-upon-Avon (25 miles) and Cheltenham (25 miles). Farm shop ½ mile. Shop 1½ miles, pub/restaurant ½ mile.

Beamed living/dining room. Farmhouse-style kitchen. Steep stairs to first floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed and sloping ceiling. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

Our third stay at the brambles. We had a lovely relaxing week in this cosy well situated cottage.

The cottage was cosy and very well equipped, providing all the basic requirements in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The welcome pack was generous including bread milk, wine and chocolate, perfect ingredients for a good holiday. The location was very quiet and we were able to walk and cycle from the door. We enjoyed our short break despite storm Ali doing its best to blow us away.

Comfortable cottage for two, with bags of historic character, in an excellent location - so much to do within a reasonable drive that a week is certainly not long enough! Good walks in the immediate vicinity and wider area, several interesting NT properties (and Stratford!) within easy range, great cities and towns within a handful of miles (e.g. Worcester and Pershore), owners (next door) very pleasant and helpful, and the property well provided with all the essentials. In other words, a perfect base for those wanting to explore the area.

This was our second visit to The Brambles and we were not disappointed. There is nothing not to like about this cosy period cottage located in a beautiful part of the country. There are so many interesting attractions on the doorstep including Croome Park, Capability Brown’s first commission and Hidcote Manor Gardens. Worcester Cathedral, Pershore Abbey and Malvern Priory are only just down the road and Witley Court and Church are not that far away. We highly recommend this accommodation, even though we are not doing ourselves any favours by broadcasting it!
