Bosveal occupies the main, central part of Bosloe Country House and is an exquisite property with its grand dining hall, panelled walls, commanding staircase and all bedrooms facing south with stunning views over gardens to the Helford River and coast.

This grand yet relaxed country house, built for pleasure in a more elegant, leisurely age, now welcomes guests all year round. The perfect summer holiday for extended families and equally appealing for friends/couples to entertain in style or celebrate a special occasion what ever time of year.

Bosveal has an interconnecting door with its neighbours, Court (ref NT011103) and Chatham (ref NT011053) to accommodate up to 24 guests, enabling extended family groups and friends to enjoy these beautiful unique properties. Also on the same site is The Bothy (ref NT011052) to accommodate a further two guests.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, and is popular with walkers as the grounds extend down to the coastal path. Garden lovers will appreciate neighbouring Glendurgan and Trebah sub-tropical gardens.

The area is popular with birdwatchers and marine wildlife enthusiasts, and the coastline is home to dolphins, basking sharks and seals.

Walk through the woods down to the tiny hamlet of Durgan with its small beach and experience time gone by. Visit the Helford Passage and the famous Ferry Boat Inn serving excellent food and local ales. Take one of the small ferry services over to the Helford Village and dine at one of the waterside inns.

Mawnan Smith is nearby with its thatched pub, village store, post office and tea rooms. Continue a few miles to Maenporth with its beautiful sheltered beach with beach café and scuba diving centre. Alternatively, visit one of the highly respected restaurants for lunch or an evening meal. The beach is ideal for bathing and is popular with families.

The area offers golf, water sports, fishing, sailing, canoeing, cycling and horse riding, or simply enjoy relaxing on one of the many secluded sandy beaches and coves.

The busy town and port of Falmouth is just 5 miles away with its prestigious marinas, glorious sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, cafes, art galleries, cinema, bowling and home to the National Maritime Museum located in Events Square. Here you will find a full calendar of events from sailing regattas to food and music festivals.

Pendennis Castle sits proudly on the headland overlooking the estuary to its sister, St Mawes Castle, both built during the reign of Henry VIII to protect the Fal River and Carrick Roads.
