Location was ideal for exploring the Peak District but the village was disappointing, the 2 pubs were closed Monday and Tuesday and Druid pub next door kitchen closed Wednesday. We found the studio a little too small for our liking though it was well equipped. Unfortunately there were cleanliness issues, previous occupant's crumbs in toaster and around worktop, bedside shelves thick with dust, cooker knobs greasy. Such a shame as the gardens are lovely and the owner Eileen is such a nice person.

We had an excellent time. Eileen was brilliant and gave us great tips for places to visit and eat. The cottage was well equipped and came with everything you could possibly need. It was spotless. Our holiday was completed by the stunning weather and views. We can highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great time.

Very small but everything we needed. Beautiful view and pretty central for the peak district.

Boskin Cottage is in an ideal setting with views over the garden and farmland with sheep, lambs and the occasional pheasant. Although the cottage is small it has everything you would expect and was spotlessly clean. Eileen was very friendly and a very good hostess. The perfect cottage for a quiet, peaceful holiday with plenty of walks nearby.

Lovely studio accommodation with many places of interest nearby. Yes it is small but it has everything you could want and was ideal for myself and my spaniel. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and the owner very helpful and kind. A perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Derbyshire countryside.
