There are several great restaurants in Ventnor or if you fancy a take-away to enjoy by the beach, the Ventnor Haven Fishery on the Esplanade sells fish and chips, locally caught and prepared to order. Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable micro-climate at the heart of the famous ’Undercliff’. This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is a restaurant and café on-site for refreshments; lunch coffee and cake!
