In a quiet and secluded location, close to Loch Etive, this spacious cottage makes the ideal holiday base for exploring Argyll. A spacious ground floor cottage, set in the grounds of the fabulous 18th-century Bonawe House, it is close to the small West Highland village of Taynuilt, just 12 miles from Oban.
Garden Cottage occupies the ground floor of the courtyard building of Bonawe House, overlooking Loch Etive, and is surrounded by mature beech trees and gardens. The house and grounds are situated on the edge of the village of Taynuilt, which is within a 15-minute walk and offers several shops, a café and golf course.
Garden Cottage has been carefully renovated by the owners to offer modern comforts in a traditional cottage setting. A very quiet and private location overlooking the semi-formal gardens, it has beautiful views of the rugged countryside. The light, airy open plan living space features a natural stone wall and patio door to the outside seating area. The two spacious, beautifully decorated bedrooms enjoy lovely views over the gardens. The seating area outside has plenty of outdoor furniture, so you can enjoy dining al fresco or just sitting in the sunshine with a good book. The natural and wooded gardens are shared with the other holiday properties with seating areas in front of the property.
