This lovely bungalow has a fantastic south facing conservatory – perfect for starting the day with a coffee and enjoying the morning sunshine.

This spacious detached bungalow, ideal for families or couples throughout the year, is set close to the seaside village of Thurlestone which is well known for its wide sandy beach owned by the National Trust. Behind the beach is a large nature reserve where rare birds can be spotted and the South West Coastal Path offers spectacular views. The property has a lovely south facing conservatory with views towards the sea and a patio terrace in the garden. Close by is the quaint seaside village of Hope Cove, the riverside town of Salcombe, a lovely place where you can take boat rides up the river. The nearest main town is Kingsbridge, an old market town which has a wide range of shops and restaurants. Shops and pub 1/4 mile.

    Great location with lovely views from the livingroom and conservatory. The Village Inn is only a short walk and serves very good food. There are beautiful walks from the doorstep and in the area. Salcombe is only a short drive and a nice place to visit.

    Very enjoyable week in excellent property. General location very good but local narrow roads a bit of a bind.

    The reason for 7 for comfort & equipment is the oven was not working properly (other people have mentioned this in the visitors book). Also the sofas are beginning to show wear and tear and were not that comfortable. We also noticed that the property had new doors and skirting boards fitted, unfortunately they were still in undercoat. Finally, the property requires shelves in both bathrooms, as there was nowhere to put your toiletries. Apart from the above we were very pleased with the accommodation

    Very pleased with bungalow, lovely location, very quiet and peaceful, the bungalow is spacious with 2 bathrooms which was great for 6 people, the village inn is only 10 mins walk , but it’s very steep to walk back up , the beach is lovely and only a mile but again very steep to get to or go on car where there is a car park , overall we had a lovely holiday.

    The bungalow was lovely the only reason I wouldn’t go again is because I like to go to different areas.
