The Byre is a three bedroom steading conversion set on a working farm just outside the small village of Lumsden which is between the towns of Alford and Huntly.

Bedroom 3: With double bed and en-suite with large walk-in shower and toilet.
Oil-fired underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Intial logs for wood burner included. External drying room with bike/sport equipment storage.

The Byre is a three-bedroom steading conversion sleeping up to six guests, it is all on one level with no steps inside or out and is designed to be fully accessible. Located just outside the village of Lumsden which still retains a small shop and garage it also has a large children’s playpark and is home to a Sculpture Trail. The three bedrooms all have en-suite shower rooms. Bedroom one has a super kingsize zip and link bed that will split to make two 3ft singles, it has been designed to allow enough room for wheelchair users as has its en-suite wet room which is fitted out with grab handles and frames and a fold up shower seat if these should be needed. Bedroom two has a kingsize zip and link bed that will split to make two singles again with en-suite shower room. Bedroom three has a double bed again with an en-suite with extra-large shower. The open plan living space has a large dining table, to seat six, as well as comfortable sofas to relax in and enjoy the views of the surrounding hills. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all the equipment you may need, and the property is double glazed with underfloor heating with thermostats in every room to give you your optimum temperature. There is also a wood burner and Smart TV. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement but have to be on a lead at all times they are outside the cottage due to the close proximity to our livestock.
Outside the patio doors is a paved patio area with adjoining lawn where you can relax and enjoy the fields of animals and wildlife on the farm or just enjoy the quiet and take in the view. Adjoining the cottage is a large drying room with a dryer to compliment the washing machine and plenty of space to dry outdoor clothing or for the storage of fishing gear, (access to a large freezer is available for your catch), bicycles, or similar equipment, immediately outside is an electric car charging point.
The Byre can be booked together with The Stables (UK40439) to accommodate up to 10 guests
