Another relaxing stay in this outstanding cottage. There is nothing to fault. From comfort of the well maintained, well equipped cottage which is always beautifully clean and welcoming. Outstanding views from the sun room in the well positioned cottage. Can't wait to return

That we have already booked for next year says it all. Location should be 11 out of 10. Plenty of room in the 'cottage' and sitting in the conservatory watching the tide can be hypnotic. Very cosy, warm and comfortable and with the aforementioned conservatory it's weather proof. Sitting watching any bad weather is fun as well. With at least four good eating out pub/restaurants within a five minute walk eating in or out is never a problem. The photograph of the cottage is out of date. There is a much larger conservatory on the front.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boating Cottage! So much so we have already booked for next year!! There were 4 in our party (ranging from 56 to 84) . We all loved the sun room with the view of Trearddur Bay, & spent most of our time in this room, which has comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, with a separate freezer which we found useful. There is no dishwasher , which might be a useful addition, but washing up liquid & plenty of tea towels are provided. The only room I wasn't keen on was the dining room as it is pretty much boxed in & no window, might be a squash if you had 6 adults. However, if weather allows, there is a nice picnic table outside for eating on the terrace. You can walk to two local shops , which is handy for newspapers & a few basics . Tesco & Morrisons are close by in Holyhead. We ate twice in the Inn at the Bay , just across the road at the Treaddur Bay Hotel. Very good basic pub grub & efficient & friendly service. If I could make a suggestion, the walk in shower is great, but it would be really good if there was some sort of handrail or something to hold onto for people who are not all that steady on their feet. My Mum uses one stick & also found the steps up to the conservatory door difficult with nothing to hold onto . Also, one other suggestion is , it would be really useful to have an umbrella to use outside on the terrace. It is a lovely suntrap, & last Thursday was only about 21 degrees but no shade & so felt hotter. Finally, thank you to Claire for preparing the cottage for us & being really helpful . The cake provided was delicious! And the tea & coffee was most appreciated. We are all very glad that the owners let out Boating Cottage & we wish we had been able to stay longer!! Very definitely I'd recommend this place!! I wish I was there now!!

The view and location was wonderful. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We have already booked again later in the year. Taking in the spectacular views of the Bay from the recently built conservatory was memorable. The cottage overall was was neat and tidy and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable with 5 adults. Local amenities are excellent and would recommend the Sea Shanty Cafe and the Seacroft as places to eat nearby. The Sea Shanty in particular offers a unique and authentic feel of Trearddu Bay with a lively and friendly atmosphere. Boating Cottage gives you the feel and and wonderful views of the Bay and was a perfect holiday at a beautiful Bay.
