This fantastic stone-built barn conversion offers a comfortable, luxurious stay in the delightful wood land area of Crosby, which is set just outside the lovely market town of Northallerton. Bluebell Lodge which was once an old granary on the first floor and cart shed below has kept a lot of its great features with wooden beams throughout the property and exposed brick work. The property boasts three good-sized bedrooms all on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms offer plush kingsized beds; in addition the master provides en-suite facilities including a walk-in massage shower and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double and single, ideal for children. A utility room is filled with a washing machine and a dog cleaning area for when you take your four-legged friends on muddy walks. On the same floor there is beautifully presented bathroom which includes a two person Jacuzzi bath perfect for relaxing in after a day exploring this stunning area along with a heated towel rail. The living area is on the first floor and is open plan throughout which has a well presented, fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs along with a cosy sitting area which includes a 50" Smart TV along with a gorgeous wood burner which is ideal to snuggle up in front of on those colder evenings. There is also a dining area which seats eight meaning you have a great place to enjoy a home cooked meal together or enjoy a family board game. Nearby towns and cities include the fabulous Helmsley, Thirsk, Richmond and a little further afield York, Harrogate and Leeds which can be accessed by the train station in Northallerton or around a one-hour drive. Alternatively, if you wanted to leave the car and have a day exploring there are plenty of picturesque walks right on Bluebell Lodge’s doorstep. The only issue you will have on this retreat is fitting everything in so why not book a couple more days!
