Blou Ebron, Cornish for Blue Sky is a stylish, semi-detached, ground floor apartment, located next to the owners home on a quiet residential street, just a short stroll from the tidal river estuary that flows in from the sea at Crantock. The estuary, The Gannel, is a tidal river, home to sea birds and wildlife and a great place to walk the dog or hire a stand up paddle board and take in a different view.
The centre of bustling Newquay is very close but this is a very peaceful part of the town. There are several excellent restaurants and café bars close by and one that sits on the edge of the towns boating lake. A great place for breakfast, a coffee or even dinner. You can stroll around the boating lake to the zoo and tennis club and through the ornamental gardens to the sports centre is you fancy a swim.
Newquay is home to some of the best surfing beaches in Europe and there are many surf schools in the town providing qualified tutors. There is also has a working harbour, tropical gardens, Bluereef Aquarium, a zoo, local farm shop, golf course (within walking distance to the apartment), horse riding, bicycle hire, sea going trips for fishing, two leisure centres and is surrounded by many tourist attractions including a Japanese Garden and Trerice which is an historic manor and gardens, owned by the National Trust.
The whole coastline is dotted with beaches and fishing villages from St Agnes in the south to Padstow in the north with its fine dining and many excellent restaurants including those of the TV chef, Rick Stein. Padstow is a must as it provides a day and evening out for the whole family. Wander the narrow streets and enjoy the evening by the working harbour or hire a bike and cycle along the famous Camel Trail, a flat off road trail that hugs the shore of the estuary. At Watergate Bay 2 miles from Newquay, you can eat in Jamie Oliver’s new restaurant, Fifteen Cornwall, then take advantage of the wide beach which is home to the Kitesurf Centre. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We did not realise upon booking that we would just be staying in the owners extension on there house, although very clean we never felt like we had the privacy that we like, the pictures on the description I feel are misleading and both me and my partner was rather surprised when we got there

Rebecca and Paul were a very helpful couple, and you are just left to get on with your holiday knowing they are next door if you need help.

Paul & Rebecca's place is located in Newquay, quite easy to access all the nice spots in the Cornwall area, but in a nice and peaceful residential area. 5 mins drive to the beach and Morrison; 1 min to the gas station. It is less than 10 mins walk before you can reach the River Gannel and Boating Lake. The place is new and clean, Paul & Rebecca suggested quite a few must-go probably only the locals know. We had a blast of our one-week Cornwall holiday and we would definitely like to live in Paul & Rebecca's place next time when we are back : ). In a way, the Newquay area itself is already plenty to see, hike and enjoy! A place to be missed. Strongly recommended! Ally & Alex
