If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic location, visit Cromford Canal, where you can explore fantastic walks, wildlife and worthwhile views of head into Matlock, home to the fantastic Heights of Abraham, a hilltop park that is reached by a cable car with exciting caverns to explore and a plethora of walks. Within Matlock town centre, you will find a plethora of shops to enjoy, as well as the highly regarded Maazi restaurant and the Italian Viva Restaurant, accompanied by a selection of bars and pubs. Attractions within the area include the lavish Chatsworth House with its noted art collection and lush grounds, the Tudor hall of Haddon Hall and the charming Crich Tramway Village.
