We loved our stay at Blackberry Barn. From the thoughtful welcome basket (including fresh eggs from the farm’s chickens) and lots of doggy treats! To the lovely contemporary feel inside whilst still retaining its charm. The grounds are beautiful and the owners are really friendly. It is perfectly placed for Looe and Polperro. The road from the main road to the cottage is long and narrow, it’s really not for the feint hearted, however it is very quiet and we were lucky to never meet any vehicles whenever we drove on it. It’s the first time on a staycation where there was plenty to do if the weather wasn’t the best, the hot tub barn was right next door, as was the gym with plenty of board games available which my family really enjoyed. The Courtyard was perfect for BBQ’s and a quiet glass of wine to just take in the scenery of an evening. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful clean cottage. However the double bed was very hard and uncomfortable for us. It wasn’t near to any amenities, you need to drive everywhere. Very scary coming back in the evening no sign posts or lights to guide you. So although it’s a beautiful setting and cottage, we won’t be returning.
