Other than the heating issues, we really enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms and rrception areas were first class The swimming pool was the icing on the cake, as was the main lounge with woodburning stove in the evenings

Stayed at mill house for three nights for our golden wedding, there was plenty of space and comfort for 17 of us, everywhere was clean and tidy, would recommend a stay.

Had a fantastic time with family and friends. Shame a few got lost, requires some kind of lighting next to the sign at the beginning of the drive.

Lovely. Wished we had asked to have a preview of the facilities as having seen the quality of the pool and games area we would have encouraged our guests to come prepared to use. Plenty of comfortable space and room for a very active 2 year old to burn off energy. A couple of our guests did comment that their double bed sagged in the middle. On the scale of things minor but if you have difficulty sleeping could affect your view of the weekend. All in all the Mill House was just perfect for our family get together and would highly recommend.

Great setting and a great size for a big party. Plenty of room in the larger living room and dining room for 15 to sit round and eat a meal. There are lots of things to do nearby and having access to the pool a few hours each day is also great. Would definitely visit again.

Family weekend enjoyed by all. Having found the drive off the A19 with a sign to the Mill House, the signage on the grounds was lacking making it more difficult to find which property was Mill House and not the Stables nor the Granary i.e. there was no name on each property. We identified the Mill house from the photos in the advertising literature and the site plan.

It is a beautiful cottage and huge with plenty of bathrooms which is exactly what we wanted. We also needed ground floor accommodation for my 90 year old mother whose birthday we were celebrating. You definitely need a car as it's right on the A19 so you can't walk anywhere which suited us perfectly. One very small observation: there were no towel rails in any of the bathrooms at all and one of the bedrooms had no hanging space or drawers. Otherwise, we really couldn't fault it.
