Everything you could ask for on a rural break. Third time we have stayed at big barn farm and will most certainly be back again. Recommended to anyone thinking of visiting the area. Lovley peaceful setting, great for dog lovers and walkers. Attractions near by such as glastonbury, stone hendge, bristol zoo, wocky hole caves, chedder gorge, bath and so much more. We had an amazing week.

Had a fantastic time at this cottage . Very original and kooky . The garden was lovely with adjacent field and orchard . Plenty of places to visit , Glastonbury is worth visiting just to people watch and Wells is well worth a visit with the beautiful dog friendly cathedral

Beautifully presented cottage, in fantastic surroundings. Extremely homely with everything you could need for a quiet and relaxing time - fantastic garden! The owner was really friendly and left you to have your own private space, but was available if needed. Good location for touring Gladstonbury - Abbey and Tor. If you want to venture further afield, Lyme Regis and Weston Super-mare are about 50 minutes drive away, but definitely worth a visit. Overall I really enjoyed the cottage and location and would definitely stay there again. Thanks

Wonderful holiday cottage in the heart of Somerset. We stayed here in mid July 2018, two adults and our little poodle, we loved it, the cottage is well appointed and impressive. The downstairs is excellent, large rooms, large living room and generous kitchen area. Upstairs is smaller and more challenging, especially for the larger fella like me! The low ceilings become a challenge but when you’re only sleeping there it’s not too bad. If i were completely honest the bathroom can get a little annoying. The bath with a shower hose for a shower is an annoying feature, BUT conversely my wife loved her baths! I’m a shower guy! Having the bathroom between the stairs and bedroom is a little odd, but it’s fine. The gardens are great, nice and secure for dogs, the stone circle is impressive and offers a great peaceful area with superb views of Glastonbury Tor, the field is plenty to walk or run round to keep the dog exercised. The owner is a lovely chap, very friendly, full of local knowledge and advice.

Lovely place. Felt welcome but host not at all intrusive. The only downside was the need to clean the oven & wash-up properly from the guests before. Amazing grounds - loved the stone circle & orchard especially for the dog!
