We enjoyed a week with the family, ages 2 yrs to 70 yrs, to celebrate a big birthday. The house is plenty large enough to cater for large groups and the garden is safe for children to play out. We enjoyed using the hot tub although didn't use the games room as much as we expected to. Probably due to younger aged children. We enjoyed visits to the Forest of Dean, in particular, Beechenhurst Forestry Commission. Some members of the family visited Puzzle Wood and highly recommended it, so we will look forward to visiting there another time.

Beautiful large house, so much space and fully equipped for 11 people. Hot tub, games room, hammock swing. Plenty of space outside for the two dogs. Washing machine, tumble dryer if you needed it. Dishwasher, coffee machine, tall fridge and freezer, the list goes on. We arrived and we were shocked it really is beautiful and the views look out to the River Severn. No neighbours behind you just a Corn Field. We met the owner who was lovely she also helped source a contact for my Daughters 30th balloons. Local Indian Takeway in Lydney delivered. Son travelled down from London to Gloucester, 30 min trip to pick him up or he could of gone on to Lydney. We didn’t go out at all over the weekend as we didn’t need to or want to we had everything we needed. We enjoyed playing games in the garden with the children and just spending quality family time together. Highly recommend, the pictures really don’t do it justice as to how grand and beautiful it is. We will be back.
