The butterfly farm, racecourse and the medieval Warwick Castle, 6½ miles, all make a great day out for all the family. There are also many National Trust properties within easy driving distance, including Charlecote Park, a Victorian home set in a landscaped deer park, 4 miles, and Kinwarton Dovecote, a circular 14th century dovecote, 6 miles away. Coughton Court, an imposing Tudor house with beautiful gardens, is just 7 miles away. Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House and Hidcote are all approximately 9 miles away. This is a great location for exploring the Cotswolds, as you can be in the heart of the area within a 20-minute drive. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

I can’t rate this cottage highly enough. It really is like a ‘home from home’ with all of the comforts that you would expect and more. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with all the character you could ask for. I especially would like to mention Annabel, the lady who looks after the cottage. She does a lovely job and is so friendly and helpful, our situation was fairly complex and she went out of her way to help us. The surrounding village is beautiful and well equipped.

We arrived and the cottage was so cold it took hours to warm Up but once warm it was fine. We found it quite cramped i would say it’s a 4 person cottage overall it was very nice. Local shop owners very friendly Also very hard to find

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you weren't happy with aspects of your stay at Bevington. As a result of your and other similar comments we have improved the directions to the Cottage - they were clearly too vague. With respect to the heating, the cottage had been only partly occupied for the previous 8 weeks in order to facilitate some essential repairs including the boiler and redecoration. In future we will ensure the heating is activated earlier than on this occasion. While respecting your view, we are disappointed with your score of 6 since we do not believe it adequately reflects the quality of the property as evidenced by the comments of previous clients.

I stayed last year at the same time. This year I found the cottage not as clean. The attic bedroom hadn’t been vacuumed and there was a dirty toothbrush holder in the bathroom. Also the outside light didn’t work It is a lovely cottage and represents good value for money but I do think mattress toppers would be a reasonably cheap but essential addition. I said the same last year. Will stay again

We found the same as a lot of other guests that the property was difficult to find and suggest that the owners make a more prominent house name sign on their gate or a brighter coloured gate and this should be mentioned in the travelling instructions. With things the way we found them, the gate looks like the back entrance to another property and not like the property photo in the advert. The contact telephone number for the owners is actually the cottage telephone number and not the owners contact number - who we understand live in France. There is a mobile number in the cottage Welcome Pack to contact the local lady but if one is travelling to the cottage there is no known contact. Perhaps this should be clarified in the instructions.

Absolutely gorgeous even though a little hard to find on a dark evening. The only suggestion i would make is to add a sensor light as you enter the garden as this was very dark and the pathways a lit uneven. We lit the fire and throughly enjoyed my Dad's 70th birthday. thank you so much

Fab cottage. Felt like home from home. Nice touches - mince pies and a bottle of wine on arrival. Quality fittings throughout Quiet location but nIce pub 2 minutes walk and just 5 miles from stratford. Only negative is that directions could be better as hard to find in the dark as you can’t see the front of the property from the road. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again.
