This cosy cottage has a wealth of original features with oak beams, wall beams and a wood burner, not forgetting the pretty cottage garden.

A beautiful cosy detached cottage, full of character and charm in the pretty village of Snitterfield. Bevington is located in a peaceful setting in the heart of the village and offers a beautiful enclosed cottage garden. Its original features include oak beams, wall timbers and a wood burner, perfect for those winter evenings. The village of Snitterfield with its traditional pub, farm shop, village store and a charming parish church, was once home to William Shakespeare’s grandfather, and still boasts many Tudor cottages. It lies in the midst of rolling Warwickshire countryside only 4 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. Here you can discover more about the life of William Shakespeare, including his birthplace and the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre.
Stratford-upon-Avon has much to offer including the appealing canal and riverside, independent and high street shops, an array of cafés, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. The butterfly farm, racecourse and the medieval Warwick Castle, 6½ miles, all make a great day out for all the family. There are also many National Trust properties within easy driving distance, including Charlecote Park, a Victorian home set in a landscaped deer park, 4 miles, and Kinwarton Dovecote, a circular 14th century dovecote, 6 miles away. Coughton Court, an imposing Tudor house with beautiful gardens, is just 7 miles away. Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House and Hidcote are all approximately 9 miles away. This is a great location for exploring the Cotswolds, as you can be in the heart of the area within a 20-minute drive. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Excellent cottage in quiet village street. Delightful garden and the countryside outside the village is beautiful. Stratford is so close and Mary Arden's farm is the best part of the locality that Shakespeare knew and this is just down the road so don't miss the opportunity of a visit.

Fantastic cottage, very clean and had everything we needed and more. The wine and cake left as a welcome gift was a lovely touch. The only issue we had was parking, as this is a very narrow street and the property does not ha e a drive we really struggled to park the car. However this did not spoil our lovely break.

A lovely house, brilliant location for Stratford, Warwick and Kenilworth. We did have some confusion when we arrived, the lady next door came out before we even had our luggage out and told us there no parking for this house and we had to go elsewhere. We didn't, we parked adjacent to the cottage and we heard no more from her. I thought the owners should know. A briefly unpleasant start but after that it was great. Thank you for such a clean, tidy and well appointed house and the welcome gifts were delicious, my compliments to the baker. I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely cottage and would definitely stay again but would benefit from outside table/chairs to be able to dine alfresco (as weather allows)

Bevington is a cosy holiday cottage which was ideal for our short break with friends. It was comfortable and well equipped. My only negative comments would be that it was difficult to find on the street because it is tucked away behind a high hedge and gate and the name on the gate is easy to miss. Also, we were unable to get the tv to work in either the lounge or the first floor bedroom. The picture kept breaking up due to loss of signal. However, neither of these things spoiled our break in this delightful little cottage which I would highly recommend.
