Bala, home to the water sports adventure centre, is also only a short drive, an absolute must visit for any adrenaline junkies. Coed y Brenin Forest Park is also close by, Britain’s first purpose-built mountain biking centre and still one of the sport’s top destinations featuring world-class mountain bike trails, family walks, a café, cycle shop, all-ability play area and an easy access trail. If you fancy a day by the beach, Barmouth is a 30-minute drive. There are miles of sweeping sands and dunes to explore here. This is an ideal location to take in this diverse region.
