This beautifully renovated, Grade II listed station master’s house is situated right on the platform of the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway, with stunning views over the River Dee and railway from the living room bay window. Visitors to this unique property enjoy unlimited travel on trains winding their way through the breathtakingly lovely scenery of the Dee Valley between Corwen and Llangollen, 1½ miles away (not valid on Santa special events or evening events, tickets for these must be purchased separately). Llangollen is a delightful town, famous for its annual music eisteddfod, Llangollen also boasts horse drawn canal boat trips, canoeing on the white waters of the river and a fine selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. From the town, narrow boat trips cross the amazing Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and many outdoor activities including mountain bike riding, gorge walking, white water rafting, abseiling and climbing are readily available.
