This delightful semi-detached barn conversion awaits you at lovely Berth y Bwl Farm, a working sheep farm, in Trelogan. It is has been finished to a good standard, and offers contemporary comfort and provides a great base for exploring the area. Woodland Cottage has a lovely en-suite bedroom with the additional benefit of a sofa bed in the living room.
The cottage is located in a quiet area but within easy reach of the golden sandy beaches in nearby Prestatyn, offering a full range of facilities. There are pubs nearby and walks are available from the door, indeed the starting point of the 176 mile Offa’s Dyke footpath is close by. Explore some of the local places of interest such as Rhyl, Holywell and St Winefride’s Well, Ruthin with its pretty town square and cafés, Colwyn Bay, home to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, or Llandudno, the Queen of Welsh Resorts with the famous Great Orme’s Head. In the other direction, the city of Chester is well worth a visit with its unique shopping Rows, city walls and cathedral, together with the fantastic Chester Zoo which is great for a family day out.
You can try your hand at some of the outdoor activities available, or take a ride on a steam train in Llangollen, whilst historic Conwy, and Betws y Coed and the Snowdonia National Park are also easily accessible given the excellent road links. Beach 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2 miles, restaurant 5 miles.
