Very warm & comfortable accommodation - location quite remote so have to take car if you want to go to village pub/ shops etc. Kitchen equipment was good. Only one thing missing was information on the local area, suggestions of where to take dog for walk locally and whether anything is recycled such as glass/cans/ paper etc.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your review so glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry you didn’t find the folder with the information on the site; recycling, local pub, fish and chip van times etc. I looked for it myself and it seems to have disappeared. We will address this ASAP and get another one to replace it.

Lovely cottage, much bigger than we thought it would be, ideal for little ones and dogs to move around in. Lots of little extras to use. The tea, coffee and biscuits were very welcome on arrival. Would have liked some information in the cottage about places to visit. But overall a lovely place to stay, and not forgetting the deer in the field in front of the cottage which the grandchildren loved.

Roscarrock could be a nice holiday home, but it is in need of some TLC. Especially the outside, paintwork/ wood needs some work, windows are dirty, outside furniture is tired general maintenance is needed. Inside looks ok, appearance is good but it is not as clean as I would like, grubby floors, dirty windows, etc. Broken mattress slats on the bed in the main bedroom. Electric log fire... We struggled to disguise the smell of damp although I bought air fresheners for every room, but we did go in April... Isolated location, a mile to the nearest very small village, but I would not walk there due to single lane roads. Most of our journeys to the main road were 5 miles down mostly single lane roads. This was too remote for me! However once in Roscarrock the location was pretty, nice view over the field.

Large log cabin with plenty of room. Well laid out and the 2 bathrooms really help. Lovely quite location and watching the deer grazing every evening was excellent. Closest pub and shops a mile away where supplies are available, as well as a good pint and meal.
