Lovely cottage with all you need. Local walks and local pub (yew tree)added to a lovely stay. The stairs in cottage are steep but it is 400 years old. Cottage is a great place to stay to visit many areas of Kent. Would recommend also left a nice bottle of wine in fridge.

Lovely quiet location with excellent local pub and wonderful walks. I was without a car but there was a wealth of places I could visit from nearby railway station (about a mile away - could be reached by footpath). However was very grateful to cottage owner who gave a lift to station on departure day when it was raining.

We had a fantastic stay here. Perfect for a country break without being completely miles from anything and everything. Cottage was amazing, really beautiful and the log fire was perfect. We were met by the owner on arrival and had fresh flowers out and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Little touches that made it even better. Pub up the road was fantastic too. For food and staff. Will definitely come again.

Good central location to explore Kent. Beware if you are above 5foot nine inches tall as the cottage has low beams. The drive into the front garden is not wide enough for even a small car and a resurfacing job is called for. The rear garden is described as enclosed but as there is no rear door it is awkward if you have a dog on holiday with you.

The steep stairs of the cottage and steep drive way, hampered my enjoyment of this historic cottage. There was only one shelf in the oven and a number of lightbulbs needed replacing. On a positive note I enjoyed staying in such a nice location and the main bedroom was quite large and spacious. The owner was also very helpful with any queries I had.
