Quiet relaxing weekend break. Owner was very welcoming with a wealth of local knowledge. Located in a quiet location, shops are a few minutes drive away. Views from the property are fab and would highly recommend walking the local hill. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and has all the equipment you need. Our only niggle was the soft mattress, a lot softer then we are used to, but we did become use to it. If we were down that way again, we would definitely look into staying at this cottage again.

A beautifully presented cottage which was spotlessly clean. It was obvious the furniture had been carefully chosen not, as some places, bought at the local second hand shop. The owner, Trina, is very welcoming and informative and not intrusive. Although the cottage is close to a through road, the noise is well insulated. The only small adverse comment is that the double bed is very soft and bouncy which did not suit my back. The single bed was much better. But this is a matter of personal choice. It was a pity that the weather was so grotty while I was there but there are many interesting places to visit in the area. I would recommend this cottage.

Comfortable and very clean cottage. Ideal for visiting the Welsh border attractions especially the Llangollen Canal, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Powys Castle, all a must when staying here. Attingham Park on your doorstep and Weston Park nearby, not to mention the Ironside attractions. Pleasant countryside views but also local to Shrewsbury town centre.
