Ben View, in the hamlet of Inveralligin, is a spacious detached home occupying a stunning loch side location. A large walled garden backs straight onto the shores of Upper Loch Torridon and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains can be appreciated from throughout the house and garden. There is also a small stream running down the side of the garden. The house comfortably sleeps up to 10 adults in 5 bedrooms 1 kingsize, 2 double, 2 twin, a large living room, sun room, a spacious dining kitchen and a separate dining room with ample space for all.It is an ideal base for nature lovers, mountaineers, families or groups of friends. A double and twin bedroom (with family bathroom) are all located on the ground floor, providing easier access for those with restricted mobility. Herons, otters, porpoises, and pine martens are all regularly spotted from the property and there is an abundance of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking and climbing all from your doorstep. Kayaks can be launched from the other side of the garden wall and boats can be launched nearby for diving and fishing in the loch. Children will be entertained for hours with the large grassy garden, paddling in the stream, and shell hunting on the beach.There is a small DVD collection, large library and family board games for rainy days, and toys to keep young children entertained. There is off road parking for 4 cars, an attached garage and lots of storage is available for outdoor equipment such as bikes and kayaks. There is a large outdoor table and seating for all. The back lawn is perfect for playing croquet (set available), football and more. A stile is on hand for quick access to the loch. After a long day exploring the local hills and loch, why not relax in the comfortable living room with a roaring log fire, or have a glass of wine in the sun room, enjoying the panoramic loch and mountain views? Within easy drive is Torridon village, the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, Applecross Peninsula, Gairloch, Shieldaig, Inverewe Gardens and Ullapool, Loch Ewe and the Isle of Skye. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
