This comfortable semi-detached cottage is situated right in the heart of Ryde town and is ideal for a small family or a couple to enjoy a break in this beautiful part of the island. Ryde is the largest town on the Isle of Wight and has a great selection of boutique shops, museums and galleries. There is a wide sandy beach which is popular for sports and activities and there is a restored 19th-century pier.
The seaside town of Sandown is approximately 6 miles away with its seafront and pier. Here you will find traditional amusements, bowling and crazy golf to keep the family entertained. There is also a dinosaur museum and the Isle of Wight Zoo, and a short distance away there is Amazon World which also has many animals to see. The National Trust’s Bembridge Windmill is about 7 miles away and is the only surviving windmill on the island. Less than 4 miles away you will find the Isle of Wight Steam Railway where you can enjoy some of the island’s unspoilt countryside from a beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian railway carriage. Beach ¾ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
