If you fancy visiting some of Wales’ spectacular castles, Criccieth Castle, and the UNESCO World Heritage Harlech Castle are both within driving distance. You’ll also find some fabulous independent shops at both these locations. Ty Coch Pub, arguably Wales’ best pub (voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world) is situated 12 miles away in the beautiful Morfa Bychan. Porthmadog, set mostly within the Snowdonia National Park, is home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and just 10 miles away. Whatever your age or interest, there so much on offer right on the doorstep.
