It can be booked together with Badger’s Rest, (ref UKC1418) a few yards away, to accommodate up to 12 guests. It has a large, lawned, enclosed garden to the rear, and private parking is available for up to 3 cars at the front. Its characterful interior displays stable latch doors, exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings and wooden floors, which all adds to the ambiance of this detached property. The farmhouse kitchen sports an Aga, giving added warmth during the cooler months, and you are assured a very comfortable stay at this traditionally furnished property. Heacham is just 3 miles away with its sandy beach, and be sure to visit Norfolk Lavender where you can learn about the distilling of lavender oil which is used in the many products you can purchase on-site. Beach 2 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

Bedroom 3: With double bed, sloping ceiling and Velux window.
Bedroom 4: With single bed.
Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment and toilet.

Oil central heating, oil, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Sauna and indoor heated swimming pool (shared with other property on-site, 9.75m x 4.5m, depth 1m) with changing and shower facilities. 2 small dogs welcome. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 7 steps in the garden. This property has a security deposit of £100.

    A big house on a big plot. Parts of the main house are dated and need upgrading which the owners are aware of and plan to improve in time. The swimming pool was great - very clean and well looked after. The pool is shared with the property attached but not sure about access and the use of the garden of the main house - people in that holiday let used the main house garden to walk their dogs....not sure if the main house garden is shared or not. Snettisham is a nice village but does require car or bus to get to the main tourist spots.

    The house would be an ideal retreat especially in winter. Unfortunately the heat from the Aga was too hot for summer and as it’s the only cooking facility it was impossible to switch off. The house itself was clean and comfortable and the pool and garden were fantastic. Overall a nice place to stay close to lovely beaches and parks.

    Snettisham is a hub of family friendly activities and we were spoilt with glorious weather. A teapot would be a welcome addition to kitchen equipment for us tea drinkers. The aga was a novelty but I was pleased to return home to my modern cooker.

    Lovely house which is well kept and clearly looked after well. Huge outdoor space and a lovely pool which is shared with the small Holiday home next door.
