The property is within easy reach of the magnificent North Norfolk coastline for its wealth of sandy beaches, nature and RSPB reserves. The famous Norfolk Broads are within 50 minutes’ drive, with riverside restaurants, cafés, shops, and daily boat hire and river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways abundant with bird and wildlife. The market town of East Dereham is 11 minutes’ drive and has a weekly street market, shops, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool and golf course. Home to the Mid-Norfolk Railway, you can also enjoy an 11-mile trip through the countryside, into historic market town of Wymondham. A shopper’s delight is the city of Norwich boasting a famous Norman castle museum, cathedral, theatre, many cafés, restaurants, two indoor shopping malls and market square. Gressenhall Museum of Norfolk life offers an interesting day out, while Thetford Forest Park, an hour’s drive away, boasts miles of walking and cycle trails to explore, ’Go-Ape’ adventure playground and assault course. Many places of interest and historical houses and sites surround the area, including Houghton and Holkham Hall, the Royal Sandringham Estate and museum, Walsingham Shrine and Abbey ruins and Castle Acre and Priory ruins. The seaside resorts of Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham and Cromer offer an array of attractions for all ages. Beach 27 miles. Shops, pubs and restaurant 4 miles.
