Bee Bowl cottage is a very spacious, yet cosy accommodation. It is in a location that is in easy reach of North Devon and North Cornwall attractions. Although there is an Aga and portable electric radiators to use, the electric fire in the lounge was all the heat source required bearing in mind we stayed the 3rd week of September. We will 100% stay there again and recommend to other holiday makers we met on our travels. We were blessed with weather between 17C÷19C, and the only criticism would be if temperatures were higher we would have needed a paracol for the patio, as the garden is a sun trap from early morning to sunset. Until next time, thank you.

We came to Bee Bowl Cottage for our honeymoon (last century). Now, exactly 25 years later, we came back with our children. The cottage has been tastefully altered in the intervening time but is still gorgeous, cosy and comfortable. In 1997 you could see the cottage from the main road but now the trees have bigger and you cannot. We spent a lot of time around the patio table (when the sun wasn't too fierce) and plenty of time at the Westwood Ho! beach or on the coast path. Negatives: We brought nearly all our week's worth of recycling home with us. Why? North Devon have a great recycling system but this cottage is only using it for glass. Shower curtain doesn't get to dry often so is subsequently mouldy. I guess that the cottage is quite damp when we aren't in a heat wave.

Just back from a lovely week here. The cottage is well situated just a 5 minute drive from Bideford, which is a quaint little town with a nice park area. The park has a free splash pool for younger children. There is a gorgeous beach 15 minutes drive away at Westward Ho- thoroughly recommend this. The cottage has a nice contained garden which our children and dog all enjoyed. The cottage has everything you need during your stay, although I would recommend a parasole for the table area as it can get hot on the patio and a retractable washing line would be useful for drying clothes. The fridge seemed to leak at the bottom.
