Beaconsfield Cottage is a lovely and deceptively spacious fisherman’s cottage set over 4 floors just outside of the heart of the famous fishing town of Brixham, making up part of the beautiful English Riviera. The property sleeps up to 6 guests in total over 3 bedrooms. As you enter the property, on the ground floor is one of the bedrooms at the front of the house with double bed. Along the landing is the family bathroom with both bath and shower above. Down stairs to the lower ground floor is an open living/dining area with sofa seating, cosy wood burner and dining table and chairs. From the dining area there are doors leading out onto the rear courtyard garden. The kitchen is partially open with the the living/dining area and equipped with all you could need for a comfortable stay. Back up stairs to the ground floor and up another flight to the first floor is where you will find the remaining two bedrooms: one is a double bedroom with sea views towards the rear of the property and the other is a twin bedroom. The last set of stairs takes you to the second floor which acts as a second living space. This area has plenty of seating and wonderful panoramic views across Brixham and out to sea, a great space for sitting and relaxing, taking in the views after a long day exploring.
Brixham is a beautiful holiday destination with its nearby beaches, coastal walks and harbour, not to mention many fresh fish restaurants and bars. There are activities for both adults and children whether that be a spot of golf or go karting nearby as well as the famous steam train railway in Churston. The local towns of Paignton, Torquay, Dartmouth, Kingswear and the city of Exeter are all within driving distance and make for great days out just outside of this picturesque town.
