Cormorant is a well appointed chalet with an eclectic mix of vintage, rustic and up-cycled furnishings, as well as a heated oak floor. A perfect getaway any time of year, this very memorable chalet is anything but ordinary. Accessed by steps at both ends of the property, it is set is all on one level, and raised on piles to mitigate for rare storm flooding. Situated right on the seafront of Cowes, you will be drawn to the sea view whatever the weather. You can relax on the decked area or the lawn and watch the ships sail by, a truly beautiful experience.
Cowes is home to the oldest and biggest sailing regatta in the world, and is the number one destination for sailors during the summer months. However it also boasts a rich wealth of history and culture, with its ’twin’ East Cowes just across the Medina Estuary by chain ferry. Here you can visit Osborne House, holiday home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Cowes is a beautiful coastal town, with many bars, restaurants and boutique shops, and there is a boat link here from Southampton, meaning no need for a car should you not want to. The Isle of Wight has lots of must-see attractions, including Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest amusement park, and The Needles, the island’s iconic landmark attraction. You can also visit many seaside resorts such as Shanklin and Sandown. When you jump on board the ferry, your holiday to this beautiful island starts.
