We arrived everywhere was lovely fresh and clean even left us tea coffee biscuits and milk and towels, the only criticisms I have is that it is directly next to a train track and these trains run very frequent sometimes past 11pm at night. Also if you have toddlers we have a 2half year old who likes to play outside there is a small patio area but no gate for safety as the ramp to the property leads straight down onto the road so the property would definitely benefit from being fenced off properly. The beach is right at the bottom of the The road which is beautiful but the sand is very sharp under the feet. Plenty of places to eat locally plenty of supermarkets and a local market 3 days a week. Other locations including Newquay is only a 40min drive away the beaches there are amazing but take plenty of money for parking/food as it’s expensive.

On entering the property it was found that the cleaning of the property was lacking as cobwebs were note to the whole of the property. The toilet seat within the ground floor shower room was noted as broken and again lacked a good cleaning standard. The mattress had definitely seen better days as you seem to be sleeping directly on springs which was very uncomfortable and the en suite bathroom door could not be closed properly and kept opening. Only by slamming the door could it be closed properly. It was also understood before booking the property, that it had a railway line directly behind. Where it is stated that noise from 2 trains per hour could be heard I found this an understatement as you can have anything up to 8 trains per hour (express and local trains) from just before 6am until 11pm.
