Comfort and Equipment – We feel the rating of 1/10 is unfair. All equipment is relatively new and includes a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, electric oven and grill, 2 fridges with freezer compartments, electric kettle, electric toaster, microwave, electric iron, electric hair dryer, plasma screen TV, DVD player, remote controlled electric fire, broadband router etc. Regarding comfort, all furniture and bedding comply with fire safety ratings, though following comments about the style of furnishings and bedding, we have replaced beds and mattresses, plus supplied a new leather triple seater sofa, with a matching armchair.
Cleanliness - the apartment is professionally cleaned at each changeover, plus a more intense deep clean on a regular basis. Following this client’s visit, our cleaners noted some crumbs and dust down the sides of the sofa and chairs, this has now been resolved, and we have replaced with easier to clean leather furniture.
Local Amenities - the rating of 6 is unjust, as the property is across the road from the beach; sea and coastal walk, there are 5 restaurants within easy walking distance, there are numerous local leisure and recreational facilities.
Value for money - again the rating of 1 is unjust, as previously stated, the majority of our guests highly rate the apartment and their holiday experience, to the extent that we have had several repeat bookings. Similarly, the guests who followed those making this review, highly praised the accommodation and have promised to come again.
The Overall rating of 1 is unwarranted and is contrary to other guests comments.
A prior guest reported a safety issue, due to storm damage to the safety rail spindles on the bridge approach path - this has been addressed and the railings have been secured.
