The property is more or less in the town centre very steep and hilly which in not a problem If you have your own transport, you can see the bay from from outside decking area but The weekend we stayed there the weather didn't do it justice dull and wet most of the time and not much of a clear view , one bedroom the under floor heating system didn't seem to work at all when needed and bed clothes off another bed was needed so it could be occupied, the bed room I occupied didn't seem to keep it to a comfortable level either , if the dishwasher was in use at the same time as preparing vegetables in the sink near by we had the problem of dirty water From the the dishwasher coming back up through the waste pipes in to the sink, I must say the property looked spotless, until my daughter who has twin boys notice that the very nice high chair supplied by the owners and available to use didn't look so nice when she noticed that on the high chair seat was and old chocolate looking biscuite and believe it or not , it had blue mold on it apart from these few niggle things it could be a very nice place

A great house for large groups with plenty of space. The house was much better equipped than suggested on the website. Wonderful views from the terrace, but sadly we didn't really use it as the weather was not very good. The two older members of our party found the walk back up the hill a bit hard. Also not easy with our double buggies. Swanage is a lovely seaside location for family holidays with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. Unfortunately the Broadband wifi didn't work, we reported this to caretaker.

A really lovely, spacious place. Highlights for us were the great sun deck and BBQ area, great big family dinning table, and just lots of room in general. Lowlights were the tv reception on free view was pretty poor on most channels and although there was wifi the broadband speed was terrible, less than a quarter of a mb. ( Not big quibbles, but with Teens and tweens it was an issue.... it would have been nice in the evenings for the grown ups too). We could have benefited from baking trays and even just some more kid friendly cups and beakers would have been good. Finally the master shower plug could probably benefit from a clean out more often, and some of the lights did not work. All said and done this is a great place to holiday, but the above meant it was just great rather than exceptional, as it could have been!

We have visited swannage in the past and love the place. We have stayed in the hoildays homes next door in the past and they have enticed us back again. This five bedroom hoildays home has a beautiful view of swannage bay and has ample of space. It was lovely and clean. The cons to staying here for us was the poor TV signal it kept disappearing at night especially if a mist at night. The metal bunk bed does not feel safe and screws missing. We had concerns about children falling from this on to hard tiled floor. The lights down stairs in the coridoor all by one didn't work and the upstairs toilet light. We did report this while we were there but unfortunately we're not sorted before we left. The light situation did cause problems for during night for us. I do love this location and would visit again and if we knew the bunk beds were sorted and few other things addressed would definitely stay in this house as it was specious and clean and the location was ideal to the town and durslton.
