Lovely cottage, comfortable and well equipped, the welcome pack was very much appreciated, especially the freshly made bread. The owners live next door and are on hand with help and advice about what to do and where to go. All in all an excellent place to stay.

Lovely home away from home. The cottage is very cosy in a relaxed location. The host was very welcoming, giving you the privacy to enjoy your break, but being only a text away if you need anything. Would definitely recommend :-)

I booked a cottage for Xmas in the Lincolnshire Wolds, but the owner cancelled the booking and I was offered this place. Although it's not in a particularly scenic area and there weren't many walks nearby, it seemed very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, which are more important priorities for Xmas. It's just off the A52 Boston to Skegness road, but set back behind another property, so traffic noise isn't an issue. The photo's don't do it justice and make it look smaller than it really is. It has a washing machine, mini hi-fi, fridge-freezer and underfloor heating - so no need for slippers! It's about 3 miles from Skegness, but you wouldn't think you were anywhere near it as it's right out in the country. The owner is friendly and helpful, but not intrusive.

Barnside is like a home from home! It is very spacious and extremely well-equipped. There is plenty of cooking equipment and the roomy kitchen makes self-catering very easy as does the large fridge/freezer. The whole cottage is presented very well, every room is very clean and comfortable. The bed is one of the comfiest we have had in a cottage and the heating made even the chilliest morning lovely and toasty! The private patio and garden area is ideal for a lazy cuppa or lunch! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and has lots of hints for local places of interest and the provision of information leaflets in the cottage gives more ideas. Located just a 10 minute drive outside Skegness there is a wealth of attractions on the doorstep and Lincoln is an easy drive. All in all we would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely come back ourselves.
