Fantastic cottage, very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Lovely grounds and cycle path nearby. Chris the owner is very friendly. The only thing missing were proper curtains in the bedrooms, as the morning light woke up our children very early.

Really nice time, excellent location and nice immediate surroundings. Everything well furnished and could support staying in all the time. Kitchen well supplied in terms of, pots, pans etc. Maybe consideration of blackout blinds? As whilst the sunlight is wonderful, so is sleeping in on holiday!!

Found the accomodation cold and the main bedroom heater made really loud noises so you could not sleep if you left it on. Bed linen poor quality, hot water supply very limited.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; This cottage is heated by 2kw electric heaters in each room which are totally silent. It is easy and quick to achieve temperatures above 30 degrees in all rooms if desired. The bed linen we use is 4 star hotel quality and the hot water is also electrically heated and stored in a standard sized cylinder for immediate use. We are sorry you seem to have had some issues with your stay. We are very approachable and if you had informed us during the week you stayed we would have addressed any problems immediately. Most of our reviews are 9 or more out of 10 and that’s how we would like to keep it.

The grounds are great to walk around and Sutherland Grove woods are right on the doorstep. Chris and his family are so welcoming and helpful with local knowledge and general assistance, they really made our stay special. We took our dogs and they were able to run around the grounds and had a great time. The location is perfect for exploring anywhere from Loch Lomond to the Islands and to Glencoe and Fort William.
