Excellent cottage for doggy people with walks from door. We enjoyed our stay although feel non doggy people would feel it was perhaps a bit shabby

Basic cottage but value for money. This was our second visit to this cottage. Bed was so comfy with nice bedding and towels. Comfy seats downstairs. WiFi was good. Kitchen utensils were adequate Owner explained the upstairs tap basin water had no pressure, which was not a problem. The shower was fine with nice hot water and heated towel rail. The bath rubber mat definitely needs either a good clean or replacement. They need some mats on each side of the bed as the wooden flooring is poor. IKEA sell cheap ones! Nice outside seating, gardens and shared BBQ Fantastic location right on the Caledonian Way. 3 miles easy walk to a lovely pub with beautiful views. Local village shop in Benderloch , some 4 miles away, had all you needed. Excellent fish and chips at Tralee. We will return.

The cottage could do with a good clean and redecoration, its tired looking and some items need some attention, namely the bathroom sink water pressure is totally inadequate, I ended up shaving and brushing my teeth under the bath taps. The bedroom flooring is a shambles, its solid oak flooring that has severely come apart, so much so that my wife several times nipped the sole of her feet in the joints. poorly fitted to say the least! The whole ground cloud do with a general tidy up, it just doesn't look very appealing when you first arrive. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen is nicely equipped should you want to cook, we just ate out each night as we were out and about anyway.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Great for getting away and unwinding. Close enough to Oban for exploring some of the islands.

We had a wonderful stay in Iona Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was comfortable. We had everything we needed for a cosy autumn stay. The surrounding area is stunning and it doesn't take long to drive to Oban which is a lovely town to spend an afternoon in. It also has plenty of amenities, like supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.
