This stone cottage, set amid countryside, is just outside the town of Pont Aven and has a terrace overlooking the beautiful well-kept garden. Situated in a very small hamlet, with a simple style interior typical of the region, featuring exposed beams and Breton furniture. Nearby Pont Aven was made famous by the painter Gauguin, who set up the Pont Aven painting school. Surrounded by the Bois d’Amour, the town features many old mills and traditional stone-built houses. Works of art by students at the painting school are always on display at the local museum and there are numerous art galleries in the centre. The town also hosts flower festival on the first Sunday in August, and the many seafood restaurants in the town serve oysters, a local speciality. The city of Quimper is 35km away.

Approximate distance to Brest airport is 83 km.
